Mixed Section
Mixed Golf at Hexham Golf Club
The mixed section at Hexham Golf Club play competition golf on alternate Friday evenings throughout the season over 11 or 14 holes. The section play a variety of formats ranging from foursomes to scrambles. The golf is competitive but friendly, with each couple having the opportunity to play with different partners throughout the season. The evening is made special by the excellent catering provided by Simon & Gavin, followed by an entertaining ‘presentation’.
The first mixed competition of the season is on Easter Monday; other competitions include the Mike Yates matchplay competition running throughout the season, friendly match against Prudhoe Golf Club, and the season culminates with the Mixed Trophy and dinner. Every couple who attend the final dinner are included in the presentation.
