Hexham Golf Club is a very friendly club and is especially welcoming to new members
I have been coming to Hexham to see our grandchildren for many years journeying up from Surrey. I always tried to have a round here and when we decided to relocate the first thing I did was to join the club. The listed clubhouse set in parkland with beautiful scenery and distant views of the Tyne Valley is a joy to behold and the course is to my mind the best in the Tyne Valley - as mentioned by Harry Wheatman who loved playing it 40 years ago. Its fairways and greens are even better now and offer quite a challenge to the good handicapper. The Pro Shop and all the admin staff are so helpful and the bar snacks and meals are just what you would expect from a dedicated chef. If anyone is a new member they are very warmly welcomed and as one myself I can only say how happy I have been since joining the club recently, and I look forward to playing a more active role in the new year ahead.

Only £125 pp including free golf lesson
Hexham/Tyneside/Alnmouth Green Fee Privilege
Golf members of Hexham Golf Club will have the added benefit of green fee privileges at Tyneside Golf Club and Alnmouth Golf Club.
You will be able to play both courses up to twice a year for only £10 per round at Tyneside and £12 per round at Alnmouth.
In addition you will be able to hire buggies at the members’ rate of £10 per round.
Terms & Conditions:
- Runs from 1st October 2011 to 30th September 2012
- Offer can only be used twice per club in the above period
- Available Monday to Friday and Sunday afternoons
- Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance via the Tyneside Pro Shop on 0191 4131600 or Alnmouth Golf Shop on 01665 830231
- A handicap certificate will need to be shown on arrival
- Not for groups of over 12
- You must be a current member of Hexham Golf Club

Annual Subscription Rates

Adult 21 yrs & over £620
Plus one-off joining fee of £450
Joining fee can be paid over 3 years
Or,
Adult 21 yrs & over £695
with no joining fee but a higher level subscription is due every year for the duration of the membership
Other rates:
Trial Junior under 18 £55
(must not previously have been a member of another golf club. For 1st year of membership only)
Junior under 18 £105
Intermediate 18 – 20 yrs £270
Country member £435 plus joining fee as above
£510 with no joining fee but higher subscription
(must live more than 25 miles from Hexham Golf Club and must be a full playing member of another golf club)

Ladies’ 3 month taster membership £125
Runs from May – July each year
Includes 6 group lessons and many other benefits

If you are moving into the area and do not know anyone to propose and second you, do not worry! We will ask our Captain to contact you and possibly invite you to play a few holes to introduce you to the Club, the course and the members.
If you need to find playing partners just ask in the Golf Shop or the office and we will be pleased to assist and help you to settle into the Club as quickly as possible.
