The club owns fishing rights to Spital Pool a stretch close by on the River Tyne, which it currently leases to Hexham Anglers' Association.

Whilst the rights are leased out, the club retains a rod for its membership to use.

The two clubs work closely together to ensure the people and especially the young people of Hexham have an affordable option to participate in either sport.
