Our long established, strong Junior Section has provided the platform for many of the region's top players, both past and present.

They start young at Hexham with 6,11 &14 hole competitions on every second Sunday during the season for those taking their first steps into the game. Run by honorary member, Jimmy Richardson and his team of helpers, they create a fun and safe environment for boys and girls to learn and enjoy the game.

When ready they progress into the main Junior Section with JLO Colin Galloway, where they play regular 18 hole competitions on a Sunday and every other Friday evening.

We also have a junior team entered in the Northumberland Junior Leagues.

Our juniors benefit from superb all year round practice facilities and have access to two PGA Professionals in Head Professional Andy Paisley and Jonathan Richardson.
